Believe it or not…the baby was born in Oyo state while holding a Qur'an as according to Nigerian Tribune  baby Ismail was born in a church at the Oniyanrin area of Ibadan in September. A renowned Islamic preacher who the newspaper spoke with said the woman who delivered the baby threw away the object she found in the baby's hand thinking it was something devilish, only for them to later find out it was a pocket-size Qur’an which contained all the 114 chapters in the holy book. It was wrapped in a thread. The preacher said although the Qur’an was small, the lettering inside was readable. The child's parent who were not practicing any faith prior to the birth of Ismail, now say they will revert to Islam as this was a sign directly from Allah. The new governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose has yesterday October 22nd shut down fuel stations with one belonging to the Ekiti state House of Assembly speaker, Dr Adewale Omirin, according to the governosr's chief press secretary, Idowu Adelusi, this action is to ensure sanity and safety in the state capital.  Apparently this did not go well with the speaker who has reacted to the closure of his filling station, the Speaker said the governor was only out to victimize him for not defecting from his political party, APC to the PDP which Fayose belongs to. "Hon. Joseph Olugbemi had told me two days after the governor’s inauguration that he (the governor) had made up his mind to close my filling station over refusal to join PDP. Recall that On 12 September 2014 a guesthouse collapsed in Lagos killing  at least 84 South Africans. Two extra storeys were being built when it collapsed  and rescue officials cited this action, without corresponding  reinforcement of the building's foundations,  to be the likely cause. However Joshua claimed  a small plane had circled over the building four times before it collapsed  and it may have been an attempt to kill him.
